Been feeling a bit distant here on my blog lately. With so many things keeping me offline, like amazingly warm weather, and a little bit of laziness, I thought I’d catch up here with what i’ve been up.
My quote project is in full swing, and I’m finally caught up, and am happy to be back on track again, and keeping it that way. I would love if you sent me your favorite quotes, or left a comment with one! I’m collecting quotes in a journal along with this project, I hope to have it filled by the end of the year with hundreds of quotes, and I plan on adding photos of the 52 Quotes I create to it as well, I’m finding it neat to have this little journal along with me on this adventure as a bit of a keepsake. Since most of my quotes are destroyed, or dismantled after being created.
Speaking of journals, I busted out one of my handmade ones for Inner-Excavate Along. I’ve had the book for over a year, and I did read it through once but never actually did the weekly activities. I love that Liz has created this little group to go week by week through the book. I’m looking forward to a little bit of an adventure.
I’ve been painting again!! Yeah that is big news! After the news of CJ it took me awhile to get my bearings straight again, and finally make my way back into the studio. I have worked a schedule out now that allows me time with CJ as well as some much needed studio time! I don’t spend as much time in the studio as I would like to, but I am happy to make the time again to let art back in.
