Hi, I’m Stacy Kathryn.
I am an artist, simply put. I love to create, whether it be on canvas, making jewelry, taking pictures, writing, or designing. I’ve realized that not only am I a mixed media artist, I’m living a mixed media creative life. My life is pieced together with different mediums, methods, and means. This shows itself in my paintings, illustration, and jewelry. My work has been constantly evolving, and each day it is a truer reflection of the artist I am, and the feelings I am trying to evoke.
Art = Hope.
Art and creating is something I’ve done from the time I was a little girl. I was always making stuff, even if only a dream world in which to play in. Finally getting a paintbrush in my hand at the age of 23 was what started this adventure. This form of creating entered my life at a time I needed it most, and I can’t see life without my creative dreams and passion to help me through some of the most difficult times of my life. For me these outlets have brought hope and light into some of the darkness that has clouded my world.
