Stacy Kathryn Holst

Hello! I’m Stacy Kathryn Holst and I am an illustrator and surface pattern designer.

My overall style leans towards playful, nature inspired, and childhood as the main themes. I love animals, and especially drawing birds and dogs as odd of a combo as that is.

I am currently available for your next illustration project. Think we would be a good fit?

A little more about Stacy…

I grew up in the big city of Chicago, where I often craved green space and the quiet hush that only the country could bring. We spent many of my childhood summers camping, and in Door County, Wisconsin, where I had the opportunity to live for four years. I’ve since relocated to southern Wisconsin, and as much as I miss living close to the water, I am surrounded by trees! It is among the trees that I’m finding my art and navigating my life as a new mom and artist.

Art and creating is something I’ve done from the time I was a little girl. I was always making stuff, even if only a dream world in which to play in. After getting my associates degree in pre-press and printing, I finally after many detours, managed to get a paintbrush in my hand at the age of 23 as I studied Graphic Design at Dominican University. It was in my last year of school and after receiving my BA that this adventure began.

Thank you for being a part of my journey!
