Hello! I’m Stacy Kathryn Holst, artist, illustrator, surface pattern designer. (I wear a lot of hats)
Creating art and fostering creativity is ingrained in me—it's a part of who I am. No matter where I go or how much time passes, the pull to create always brings me back. Ignoring it only leads to its emergence in other forms, teaching me valuable lessons in the process, a journey of constant learning.
My artistic style is characterized by texture, vibrant hues, and a playful spirit. Animals, particularly birds and dogs, serve as my primary muses, infusing my work with their charm. I love exploring diverse color palettes, and experimenting with various mediums and techniques.
I’m based out of south-central Wisconsin and have an amazing husband, two kids, and a very old turtle (52 years old)! We recently lost our dog Charlie who we miss so very much lately, and has left a bit of a hole in our life.
